The ITC grant is aimed at (financially) supporting a researcher from ITC countries in attending scientific conferences and presenting their work. Both the conference paper and the conference have to be aligned with the aims of COST Action. All details on application process can be found below.
Any ML4Microbiome COST participant who is a PhD student or an Early Career Investigator (ECI) and is affiliated with an institution located in an ITC country participating in the Action can submit an application request for an ITC Conference Grant. Ideally, the application should be submitted at least 45 days before the conference start date.
The following countries are considered ITC: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, the North Republic of Macedonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Turkey.
Each year CA18131 will award two grants to the value of €1000 each.
