ML4Microbiome Working Groups Meeting

The ML4Microbiome Working Groups Meeting will be held in Budapest (HU), 10-11 May 2023, kindly organised by Balázs Ligeti.
The meeting venue is the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics building, Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
The two-day meeting will start with a joint all-WGs meeting followed by parallel WG meetings for internal discussion to organise activity plans and milestones for the upcoming months. A joint debriefs and discussion will take place on the last day. We will try to arrange a hybrid meeting for those who cannot join in person.
Programme
Friday, 10th March
09.00-12.00: meeting for all participants, with a coffee break. Venue: Jedlik lecture room.
12.00-13.00: lunch (Kerova restaurant, one min. walk from the venue)
13.00-16.00: WG meetings with a coffee break.
Social events
17.00-18.30: quick city tour (Buda Castle, River Danube, the Parliament etc.)
18.30- : dinner at Spinoza
Saturday, 11th March
09.00-11.00: WG meetings
11.00-11.30: coffee break
11.30-12.30: meeting for all members, venue: Jedlik lecture room
12.30-13.45: lunch (Grund, five min. walks from the venue)
13.45- …: meeting for all members, venue: Jedlik lecture room, with a coffee break.
Social events
17.00-18.30: a quick tour of the city (Inner City, Andrássy út, Heroes’ Square, City Park)
18.30-… : visit the Széchenyi thermal bath.

- You should take bus number 200E and drop off at any of its stations which is the most convenient for your accommodation
- Budapest is a big city with an efficient and diverse public transport system. We recommend you buy a 72-hour Budapest-travelcard which can be used for an unlimited number of trips within the administrative boundaries of Budapest, on every bus, tram, trolleybus and metro line (however, it is not valid for the airport bus numbers 200E and 100E) for 72 hours (starting from the first use of the ticket).
